Excursions

A moment of relaxation is planned in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 5th.
We propose three different excursions, the first one including two options.

1. Visit of a winery and tasting in the cellars "Terres des Templiers" - 2.30 pm / 5.30 pm 

You have the choice between two options:

1. One-hour walk in the vineyards with a technician of the "Terre des Templiers" domain, followed by a visit of the winery and a special wine-tasting of our Collioure and Banyuls AOP, including food and wine pairing.
In English, 25 participants maximum.

2. One hour stroll, on horseback, in vineyards and in the heights of Banyuls, discovery of the terroir and the panorama of the vermeille coast, followed by a visit of the winery and a special wine-tasting of our Collioure and Banyuls AOP, including food and wine pairing.
In English, 20 participants maximum.

2. Visit of the Salvador Dali Theater-Museum in Figueres-Spain - 1 pm / 7 pm (picnic basket included)

The Dalí Theater-Museum, the largest surrealist object in the world, is housed in a 19th-century building that was the former Municipal Theater, destroyed at the end of the civil war. It was on his ruins that Salvador Dalí decided to build his museum. 

The largest and most extensive collection of Salvador Dalí's works is on display, most of which comes from the artist's personal collection. Immerse yourself in the world of one of the most extraordinary minds of the twentieth century in a museum designed by Dalí himself. Discover the strange 3D anamorphic installation of the living room with furniture that looks like Mae West's face when viewed from a single point of view. Think before holographic art and be amazed by a beautiful collection of jewelry designed by Dalí. Look at the glass geodesic dome that sits on the stage of the old theater and look down, at the place where Dalí is buried, in a crypt below the stage.

Guided tour in english, 22 participants maximum.
(Please note that this tour may not be possible for the participants who have a visa for France only)

3. Sea Kayaking in Banyuls Bay - 2 pm / 5 pm

The sea kayak is a stable boat, fast and ecological.
From Banyuls, kayakers can slide from wild creeks into hidden caves, at the foot of the sculpted cliffs of the marine reserve or between the rocky labyrinths of the Marine Park ...

After an introduction to sea kayaking in Banyuls Bay, the flotilla will go for a paddle trip to discover the hidden side of the Côte Vermeille. A break may take place on a wild cove.

Conditions: The service includes the supply of water and safety equipment, supervision by French and English speaking sea kayak instructors and professional liability insurance.
Recommended clothing: Shorts, T-shirt, sportshoes (accepting to become wet!) and sunhat. Of course you must be able to swim.
